This is a committee which holds an International
Ukiyo-e Symposium once a year,
ordinarily in autumn.

The International Ukiyo-e Symposium

The International Ukiyo-e Symposium consists of reports,
symposia and special lectures on certain subjects. We invite
two foreign scholars as special guest every year.
They give reports or lectures during the symposium. The subjects
handled up to now have been such as "Ukiyo-e in Meiji", "Suzuki Harunobu", "Hiroshige", etc.

The 14th International Ukiyo-e Symposium 2009.

14th(Saturday) and 15th(Sunday) November 2009.
Theme :"Ukiyo-e in Foreign Collections today"
At　Keio　University　（2-15-45 Mita,Minato-ku,Tokyo,Japan）

Members of the Society who wish to make a presentation at the Symposium
must submit their title, a summery in?600−800 words, along with their name,
address and profession, etc. to the society office by email (kokusai@ukiyo-e.gr.jp) or post before
the 23th August. English or Japanese.
